I was able to work with Tobias's solution. His article mentioned that the webapp has to reside in the same server as the sharepoint.

I'm assuming the same applies for the powershell solution. Is that correct? I had some challenges running your solution, after copying the sharepoint related dlls in a client machine. Those dlls were registered in the GAC, but, their were too many method and/or OutOfMemoryException that got triggered.

I am digging the HA feature being released soon. I just went with Starwind and agree that this is a great piece of software and the HA will make it even better. Look out other competitors.

Oh, that must be why they aren't answering my support cases (which btw is through email only).

I wouldn't recommend their solution to any production environments. For test/dev/lab it might be a good fit, though.

Very interesting. I`m using it now, and my actual thought is that StarWind is reliable and affordable product. I think that 5 version release will improve shared storage management to new level.
