About me

I'm is a trainer and speaker from Sweden who have been teaching infrastructure and security since 1999. Currently employed full time by Informator Utbildning Svenska AB as a trainer, speaker and product manager.

I've been a Certified Microsoft Trainer since 2006 and before that certified security trainer by StoneSoft since 2001. Also beeing one of just a few Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Ignite approved trainers. Working primarily with SharePoint 2010 and likes to speak about networking (IPv6), infrastructure (SBS, EBS) and PowerShell. During the last year I have successfully delivered sessions at TechEd Europe, and numerous other events.

Serving the community as MCT Europe Community Lead and a user group leader in INETA, GITCA and SQLPASS. Engaged in the learning community and committed not only to technical expertise but also instructional excellence, writing course materials for the SharePoint 2010 series of MOC literature.

I grew up in a picturesque town with only about 200 inhabitants. When I was 16 I moved to a appartment in nearby sea-side Karlskrona because of my studies. During my childhood I was always intrested in computers, but when I decided what to study I rebelled on myself and decided to become a Chef. I worked as a Chef breifly before my millitary service and decided that the working hours for a Chef wasn't that appelling. =)

After my millitary service I called a friend of mine in Norrköping (middle of sweden) and asked him for a job. He owned a small webhosting company called Crystone. The company employed only him-self and one more. So I was third in the company. I quickly showed my tallent as a technican and become cheif technican for a few years while the company grew. When I left Crystone it had grown to about 70 employees with offices in Stockholm, Malmoe, Norrköping, Oslo, Florida, London and Poland. It was quite a journey and I got many oppetunities to test different positions - rangning from support and support manager to factoring manager. What finaly drowe me to change from this company was that I got a familly and a daughter and working until 3'am with crashed mail clusters and such just lost its charm after eight years.

I then called a training company where I had gone many times for training and I was always impressed with their profesionalism and their offerings. That company was Informator. I talked to their COO, Malin Domeij (who has left the company now), and we decided on a audition as a staffed trainer. The audition was a bit shaky (I think =) even if I held a lot of courses during my time at Crystone but Malin and some co-workes was impressed so I got hired! =). Since then I have really discovered that teaching is my calling, technical training to be more precise. I love to deliver knowlegde and to talk to and meet course participants; so I have fell head-over-heals in love with this thing!!

On my spare time I like to spend time with my wife, Sandra, and our daughters Vinga and Lycka. Spare time isn't however a luxary I have offen. Most evenings after Vinga have gone to bed I spend surfing the newsgroups, blogs and other sites in search of even more knowledge and to share my knowlege. I like photography and I own a Nikon D300 with lots of optics, filters and so on. This is almost my most priced possession. I love to be able to capture the sparkling autumn, the summers livefull days or whatever that comes before my lens. Photography is truly a art. Almost as good as Sharepoint.. =)

Teaching certificates/accreditations: Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) since 2006, Certified Stonegate Instructor (CSGI)  since 2002
