What is FEP Service Policy?

The FEP service policy is automatically generated and advertised when you change precidense, delete a policy or policy advertisement. The purpose is to trigger the client to apply the change in policies that you did on the SCCM server.
The FEP Service Policy does not show up under the FEP -> Policy node in SCCM, only under advertisements.
What happened to a customer of mine is that he deleted a policy (the only one he had created) which means that the FEP service policy was created (it only runs applypolicy.vbs) to trigger the client to go apply the next policy in line since there was olnly the default policies left he accidently turned on firewalls on all his computers :-).
That's something to keep in mind
